Description
Flexible waterproofing for demanding projects
Creates a flexible waterproof barrier that helps to accompany the behavior of the substrate and resists positive and negative hydrostatic pressures, ideal for solving leaks with a continuous and durable layer.
Versatile application and ready finish
Its thixotropic behavior allows for easy application on walls and floors using a trowel, brush, or roller, leaving a surface suitable for painting or protecting with clear lacquer.
Suitable for immersion and drinking water
It can be used in conditions of permanent immersion and does not alter the potability of the water, making it ideal for more sensitive and demanding waterproofing solutions.
WP11 Flex is a single-component flexible cementitious waterproofing mortar, formulated with hydraulic cements and polymers.
Once applied, it forms a flexible waterproof layer that resists positive and negative hydrostatic pressures, with high adhesion and excellent impermeability. It is thixotropic, allows surfaces to breathe, is volumetrically stable, and is suitable for permanent immersion.
Flexible.
High impermeability and excellent adhesion.
Ready to use: just add water.
Suitable for permanent immersion.
Suitable for vertical and horizontal use (thixotropic).
It does not affect the potability of water.
Withstands positive and negative pressure.
Suitable for painting or lacquering.

Surface preparation:
All substrates must be stable and structurally sound. If necessary, mechanically clean the substrate by polishing or other means until a solid, firm substrate is obtained.
Mechanically clean any substance that could interfere with the adhesion of the mortar (e.g., grease, oil, wax, dust, mold, paint, etc.). Test the porosity using a water drop test.
Spray water onto the surface. If the water forms droplets and is not absorbed within 2 minutes, the surface is non-porous and likely contaminated. Those contaminants must be removed, and the surface should be roughened using a mechanical method such as polishing or grinding.
If the surface has irregularities, it is recommended to repair them beforehand with one of the appropriate T-CON mortars for this purpose.
It is recommended to moisten the substrate prior to applying the waterproofing agent to achieve better results. If in doubt, consult the T-CON technical department. The temperature at the time of installation must be at least 5°C.
Preparation of the mixture and application instructions:
First add 80% of the water and then the powder while beginning to mix. It is recommended to do this in a well-ventilated area and to wear a dust mask. Use a mixer, low-speed drill, or trowel, maintaining a ratio of 3.6 to 4.4 liters of water (18% to 22%) for each 20 kg bag of WP11 Flex Waterproofing. If in doubt, consult the T-CON technical department. The temperature at the time of installation must be at least 5°C.
It is recommended to use 3.6 liters of water when installing with a trowel, and 4.4 liters when applying with a brush or roller. It is advisable to install the first layer with a brush to achieve good penetration into the substrate, and the subsequent layers with a trowel to achieve a compact system.
We recommend applying at least two coats in all cases. Consult the T-CON technical department for more information.
