Description
Self-leveling that can be used as a final finish
Level and finish the floor with a single product: with the right primer, F11 offers the stability and aesthetics necessary to serve as a visible finish.
Ultra-smooth surface and high resistance to traffic
It leaves a very smooth and resistant finish, designed to withstand everyday use with excellent performance against foot traffic.
Very light gray, ideal for toning and customizing
Its very light gray color makes it easy to achieve coordinated finishes in different shades, ideal for decorative or commercial projects.
F11 is a self-leveling cementitious mortar that is quick and easy to install, formulated with hydraulic cements.
It allows surfaces to be leveled to thicknesses of 3 to 15 mm and, unlike other self-leveling compounds, can also be used as a final finish. It is very light gray in color, allowing it to be tinted to different shades, and provides a very smooth surface that is moisture resistant (without acting as a vapor barrier) and offers excellent resistance to traffic.

Surface preparation:
All substrates must be dry, stable, and structurally sound. If necessary, mechanically clean the substrate by polishing or other methods until a solid and firm substrate is obtained. Mechanically clean any substance that could interfere with the adhesion of the mortar (e.g., grease, oil, wax, dust, plaster, paint, etc.).
Test the porosity using a water droplet test. Sprinkle water on the surface; if the water forms droplets without being absorbed within 2 minutes, the surface is not porous and is probably contaminated. Such contaminants must be removed and the surface must be worn down using a mechanical method such as scarification or mechanical grinding.
Print the surface with the T-CON line adhesion promoter appropriate for the surface to be coated. The tempera
Primer required:
Both on porous substrates where aesthetics are important (commercial premises, hotels, homes, etc.) and on all non-porous substrates, apply Primer EPX T-CON according to the corresponding technical data sheet.
In areas where aesthetics are not as important and the substrate is porous (warehouses, mechanical workshops, etc.), apply Primer P10 T-CON according to the corresponding technical data sheet. If used for the Self-Leveling Polished Cement System, it is recommended to always use Primer EPX T-CON.
If you have any questions, please contact the T-CON technical department or your assigned representative.
Cracks:
F11 T-CON Self-Leveling Mortar should not be installed over moving joints or cracks. These must be respected, down to the
base and floor (existing expansion, insulation, and construction).
It should be noted that, as it is a surface finish, it cannot prevent structural movements, which may cause reflective cracks. Among the areas most prone to crack transmission are areas with vibration in a concrete slab due to truck or heavy transport traffic, apartment buildings that move in the wind, existing cracks in the floor, control joints or closed joints, expansion joints, protrusions from different substrates, and small cracks that form in the corners of metal applications such as electrical boxes.
Although priming with Primer EPX T-CON is the best way to minimize the possibility of reflective cracks, these can be transmitted to the surface if structural movement is significant.
Preparation of the mixture and application instructions:
It is recommended to mix 2 bags of F11 T-CON self-leveling mortar in each preparation.
First add the water and then the powder. It is recommended to do this in a well-ventilated area and to wear a dust mask. Use a mixer or heavy-duty drill (½” (12 mm, min. 650 rpm)) to mix each 25 50 pounds bag of F11 T-CON Self-Leveling Mortar with 4.75-5 liters of water (9.5-10 liters for 2 bags of 50 pounds).
Pour the mixture onto the floor and spread it with the leveling tool. Immediately afterwards, smooth the material with the recommended metal trowel or spiked roller. Wear spiked shoes or cleats to avoid leaving permanent marks in the mortar liquid.
Frequently asked questions
Can it be used as a final finish?
Yes, it can be used as a final finish with the appropriate adhesion promoter.
What thicknesses is it applied in?
Between 3 and 15 mm (minimum 3 mm above the highest point; minimum 6 mm in decorative applications).
What primer is recommended?
For important aesthetics or non-porous substrates: EPX primer; for porous substrates where aesthetics are not important: P10 primer.
When is traffic permitted?
Suitable for pedestrian traffic after 6 hours.
When can it be polished or sealed?
Suitable for polishing after a minimum of 72 hours and for water-based sealant after 24 hours.
