Description
Continuous, minimalist aesthetics
It allows you to create seamless surfaces with a fine, elegant texture that enhances the design of the space and provides a modern, uniform aesthetic.
Minimum thickness, maximum impact
It is applied in millimeter-thick layers, ideal for renovating without modifying existing levels or structures, even on already finished surfaces.
Customizable in multiple colors
It can be mixed with T-CON toners to achieve a wide variety of shades and adapt to different project styles.
M101 is a very fine-grained polymeric microcement designed to coat all types of surfaces with a continuous, modern aesthetic finish.
It allows for seamless, minimal thickness surfaces that are easy to clean and hygienic. It can be applied to floors, walls, countertops, and other elements, and can be tinted with T-CON Tinters to obtain multiple colors.

Surface preparation:
All substrates must be dry, stable, and structurally sound.
If necessary, clean mechanically by polishing or other methods until a solid, firm substrate is achieved.
Mechanically clean any substance that could interfere with the adhesion of the microcement (e.g., grease, oil, wax, dust, plaster, paint, etc.).
Print the surface with the T-CON line adhesion promoter appropriate for the surface to be coated. If the surface is uneven, use Leveling Base or T-CON Self-Leveling Mortar (L15, L50) to prepare the surface.
If you have any questions, please contact the T-CON Technical Department or your assigned representative.
For applications with critical aesthetic relevance:
For applications where maximum aesthetic effectiveness of Microcement M101 T-CON is desired, priming with Primer EPX T-CON is recommended.
This is a highly reactive epoxy that adheres firmly to the substrate to help minimize cracks in T-CON finishes. Follow the general recommendations for substrate preparation above, and apply EPX T-CON Primer carefully following the instructions in its technical data sheet.
Joints and cracks:
Microcement M101 T-CON should never be installed over moving joints or cracks. All existing expansion, insulation, construction, and control joints must be respected. Otherwise, cracks may occur or the finish may peel off. T-CON is not responsible for problems arising from joints, existing cracks, or new cracks that have developed after the system has been applied.
In non-moving cracks, before continuing with the installation, all non-moving joints wider than 0.7 mm must be filled with a rigid material with a high modulus and high solids content, such as Primer EPX T-CON.
Surface preparation:
Pour 2.0 liters of water (1.75 liters when adding T-CON toner) for each 5 kg bag of M101 T-CON Microcement into a suitable container.
If adding T-CON toner, consult the label. Add the microcement while mixing with a low-speed drill mixer. Once all the powder has been added, mix at high speed until a uniform mixture without lumps is achieved (approx. 2-3 minutes).
Once the adhesion promoter and/or base coat has been applied, proceed with Microcement M101 T-CON.
Apply one coat with a metal trowel. Once it begins to dry on the surface (the material begins to lighten and the trowel does not drag the material from the first coat), apply the second coat of Microcemento M101 T-CON. Once dry, sand to remove imperfections. The substrate must be between 10 and 25°C with a relative humidity between 40 and 60%. As this is a cementitious product, it is recommended to use a sealant to protect the surface.
Proceed with extreme caution on the surface until it has been sealed.
Frequently asked questions
What surfaces can be coated with M101?
Floors, walls, countertops, and other stable surfaces, always properly prepared.
How thick is microcement?
The system works with millimeter thicknesses, ideal for renovations without demolition.
Can you choose the color?
Yes, it can be tinted with T-CON tinters to achieve multiple shades.
Is it easy to clean?
Yes, as it is a continuous, sealed surface, it is hygienic and easy to clean.
Is it mandatory to seal it?
Yes, it is recommended to apply a sealant to protect the finish and ensure its durability.
